This high quality improved Neubauer Pattern Haemocytometer consists of a moulded piece of thermal & shock resistant glass
It is used for estimating the number of particles in a suspension
The slide is designed for routine counts of red cells and white cells in blood, but can also be used for counting bacteria or yeast cells
The cell has two counting grids, separated by a central trough and divided into 400 squares 0.05 x 0.05mm
With the special coverslip in place, a volume of 2.5 x 10‐4mm� overlies each square
This enables numbers of cells per unit volume to be determined
Supplied complete with two special coverslips and 2 dilution pipettes
