Plant the seeds approximately 1/4 inch deep and cover them with a light layer of soil
Water the area gently to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged
Carrot seeds typically germinate within 14 to 21 days, depending on soil temperature and conditions
Once the seedlings reach a height of 2 inches, thin them to provide adequate space for each carrot to develop
Aim for a final spacing of 2 to 4 inches between carrot plants
